A K–12 charter school rooted in Ojibwe culture, language, and community. We prepare students to walk confidently in both worlds — honoring where they come from and reaching toward where they are going.
Circle of Life Academy was founded on a simple belief: that the most powerful education is one that honors a child's identity. We weave Ojibwe language, culture, and values into everything we do — from math and science to art and physical education.
Our students graduate knowing who they are, where they come from, and how to succeed in any world they choose to enter.

Our Ojibwe language program is among the most comprehensive in Minnesota. Students learn alongside community elders and master speakers — keeping the language alive for the generations to come.
Language is not just a subject at Circle of Life. It is the lens through which students understand themselves, their history, and their responsibility to the community.
Every word spoken in Ojibwe is an act of resistance, resilience, and love. Our students carry this language forward.
Students, families, and elders gathered for our traditional wild rice feast — celebrating the harvest and honoring the water protectors of White Earth Nation. The event drew over 200 community members.
Our student drum group represented Circle of Life Academy at the Minnesota Indigenous Language Summit, receiving a standing ovation from attendees across the state.
Every graduating senior has been accepted to a post-secondary program. Miigwech to our families, staff, and the community whose support makes this possible year after year.
We are honored to welcome two fluent Ojibwe speakers as our inaugural Elders-in-Residence, who will work alongside students daily throughout the school year.
We welcome students from White Earth Nation and all surrounding communities. Our doors are open — reach out and we will walk this path together.
Enrollment is open to all eligible students. Here's how to get started:
